Author of the Best selling book "The Savage Nation", Michael Savage is the number one drive time talk show host in the San Francisco Market and in many other cities around America.

An independent-minded individualist, Michael Savage fits no stereotype. He attacks big government and liberal media bias, but champions the environment and animal rights. Trained as a scientist, he holds Master's degrees in medical botany and medical anthropology and earned his Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley in Epidemiology and Nutrition Science.

Savage created the phrase "Compassionate Conservative" in 1994. Savage has used this concept in his radio program and in conducting the first of four hugely successful Compassionate Conservative Conventions bearing that name in 1995.
